Personal Background |
I gained a M.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2003 from the Novosibirsk State University in Novosibirsk, Russia. From 2003 until 2006 I was a PhD Student at the Institute of Informatics Systems in Novosibirsk. Besides, in 2002-2005 I have been working as a senior developer and team leader in the SIGMA software company. In December 2006, I gained a Ph.D. in Computer Science (thesis title: "Syntactic unambiguity in knowledge representation in first order logic" - translated from Russian). Since then, I am Research Associate at the Institute of Informatics Systems in Novosibirsk, Russia. In the period from 2006 to 2014, I have been working as a Visiting Professor at the Institute for Algebra at the Technical University of Dresden, Department of Mathematics at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Department of Computer Science at the Ryerson University in Toronto, and the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Ulm. |
